Becoming the true Student Council President meant not only taking over the office located in the Sun Tower from Carlos but also gaining the authority to interact and communicate more frequently with the Third Prince.

For instance—considering the Third Prince regarded himself as the Vice President of the Student Council—he would almost always respond to the President’s summons. This privilege had originally belonged solely to Carlos, but now Su Ziye could wield it as well.

However, Su Ziye’s ambition to become Student Council President was far more profound than these superficial perks.

On the very night Su Ziye assumed the presidency, he summoned Liu Ru once again.

Over the past year, Liu Ru had spent the majority of her time immersed in managing the factories. She performed exceptionally, organizing several factories meticulously and cultivating capable subordinates to whom she could delegate much of her workload. This allowed her to finally return to Ye Ye Academy to continue her studies.

Before heading to the Ye Tower, Su Ziye took Liu Ru’s hand.

Beneath the night sky, the towering white tower seemed dreamlike as it stood amidst the winding stream.

“Follow me,” Su Ziye said softly.

He guided Liu Ru along the white walls outside the Ye Tower, seemingly stepping on air, until they reached a certain wall. He gently touched it, activating a mysterious teleportation array.

After a brief dizziness, Liu Ru found herself inside an extraordinary chamber.

“Where is this?” she asked instinctively.

“This is beneath the Ye Tower, the academy’s most precious treasury,” Su Ziye replied calmly. “Only the Student Council President is entitled to enter here; not even the President of the Zang Xue Society or the master of the Crimson Heart Dojo is granted access.”

Liu Ru looked at Su Ziye. He nodded.

“This is the very reason I aspired to be Student Council President—nothing more,” he said.

Together, they quietly explored the hidden chamber.

The first level dazzled Liu Ru with piles of gold, heavy ingots stacked like mountains filling the vast room. She could hardly estimate their exact worth, but it was undoubtedly the empire’s immense wealth.

The second level housed various precious materials—some rare medicinal ingredients, others invaluable artifacts for forging weapons, and still others unfinished divine weapons. Any single item here could drive countless people mad with desire.

Su Ziye then led Liu Ru to the third level.

There, rows upon rows of invaluable cultivation manuals awaited. These texts encompassed nearly every cultivation method known across the continent, all of the highest and most profound caliber. Without much effort, Liu Ru found the very Phoenix Burning Blood Technique she herself practiced.

Yet Su Ziye didn’t linger there.

The fourth level contained a diverse array of rare spiritual artifacts.

These were completed powerful spiritual tools, many renowned on the rankings. Even one such item could drastically enhance one’s strength. Here, they were practically everywhere.

Still, Su Ziye did not stop for long. He took Liu Ru’s hand and led her to the deepest part of the Ye Ye Academy’s secret chamber.

To Liu Ru’s surprise, at its core was a vast library.

It was a circular room with a rustic round table and stools at its center, designed for resting and reading. Surrounding the room were shelves filled with ancient books made from unknown, archaic materials.

Su Ziye finally halted and sighed.

“Three hundred years ago, three saints sat around these very tables, poring over these tomes.”

“Three saints?” Liu Ru blinked in surprise.

“The Princess of the Sea, Xiao, the strongest human to have ever lived.”

“The Sage Yue Yi, creator of Ye Ye Academy and its first dean.”

“And—” Su Ziye paused.

“Xia, inventor of the Heavenly Dao Sword and the world’s first saint.”

“The volumes you see around you,” Su Ziye gestured to the powerful texts emanating mystical auras, “share one name.”

“They are commonly known as…”

“The Yue Yi Notes,” Su Ziye said quietly.

“The Yue Yi Notes?” Liu Ru echoed, astonished.

“Yes, the notes of a saint,” Su Ziye nodded. “That saint spent most of their extraordinarily long life compiling these notes. They encapsulate all the saint’s thoughts and imaginations, representing the world’s highest echelon of wisdom. Almost any question you can conceive finds its answer within these pages. Even the method by which that saint transcended to sainthood is recorded here.”

“And this,” Su Ziye said, locking eyes with Liu Ru, “is the true reason I came to Ye Ye Academy.”

“I have countless questions I hope to answer by studying these notes.”

Liu Ru sighed and looked at Su Ziye.

“Then why bring me here? Only the Student Council President has the right to enter and read these notes.”

“Because I want you to become stronger—stronger still. Only then can you truly help me,” Su Ziye replied calmly.

“I may only stay at the academy for a year.”

“Perhaps not even a full year.”

“During that time, I will spend most of it studying and memorizing these notes, seeking ways to grow stronger.”

“After that,” Su Ziye looked at her steadily, “I will leave.”

“Leave?” Liu Ru was incredulous.

Su Ziye had finally found refuge at the academy, yet he planned to stay only two years at most before departing?

Could he truly become strong enough in such a short span to carve out a destiny for himself?

No matter how confident Liu Ru was in Su Ziye, she found it hard to believe.

“Yes. I can’t hide here for long—I have many pressing matters to attend to,” Su Ziye said lightly. “But I need you to stay.”

“I want to go with you,” Liu Ru said without hesitation.

“You must become stronger, be my strength, not my burden,” Su Ziye smiled. “You need to remain at the academy, learn everything that can make you stronger, manage the enterprises I leave behind, and find like-minded subordinates who can become our allies.”

“And then, wait for my call.”

“Trust me, I will call on you. When that time comes, I hope you will have grown so powerful that I will look upon you with awe.”

“Can you do that?” Su Ziye asked.

Liu Ru pondered for a long while.

Finally, she nodded.

“Alright.”
