Chapter 11: A Stunning Youth
(Page 1/3)
Ningguang opened the video file with a look of anticipation.
Will the choices Xiao Feng makes in the game be the same as they were before?

"Mondstadt Arc," Episode 1, Prologue: Before the Journey Begins.
In the vast, boundless sky ten thousand meters above, there was no life, nor any clamor. Only drifting clouds rose and fell, as if silently recounting the rise and fall of the world throughout the ages, witnessing the shifting tides of time.
{Teyvat}
On the screen, a few concise characters appeared out of thin air, identifying the name of this world.
"Whoosh!"
Suddenly, a giant dragon riding the gale burst into the scene. Its massive wings flapped like two enormous fans, scattering the five characters on the screen and shattering the silence of the high skies.
"Roar!"
The dragon let out a furious cry, beat its six wings, and surged forward at high speed, vanishing into the edge of the horizon in the blink of an eye.
The camera did not follow the dragon; instead, it began to pan slowly downward. The dragon’s appearance seemed merely to serve as a foreshadowing.
As the view drew closer to the ground, birds could be seen circling and soaring in the air. A sea breeze swept in, carrying the distinct, briny scent of the ocean.
This was a beach near Starfell Cliff, within the borders of Mondstadt.
…………
【Wow, the place where the dream begins.】
【The protagonist should be appearing next, right? Ahhh, come out already! I can't wait to see my husband!】
【Get lost, he's everyone's "husband" to you. You don't even have a husband. He's *my* husband.】
Although this was Ling Feng's first real appearance, his perfect features and outstanding temperament had already captivated a large group of girls in the chat, who had instantly dubbed him their "husband."
However, because the previous trailers had mostly showcased intense combat scenes with rapid camera cuts and movement, the audience hadn't been able to see the boy's face clearly.
Still, the few split-second frames they had managed to capture were enough to leave many girls in the livestream stunned.
…………
"Boom!"
On the beach, a cliff face that had been peaceful a moment ago suddenly shook violently, as if struck by a massive object. The commotion sent lizards and insects near the cliff scurrying away in terror.

"Boom!" "Boom!"...
The sound did not stop; a second strike followed, then a third...
Judging by the impact, it seemed as if someone inside the cliff was striking the rock face with punch after punch, each one possessing the force of a thousand pounds, causing the mountain to tremble continuously.
"Boom!" "Crash!"
With one final heavy blow, the cliff wall finally succumbed and shattered.
Small fragments of stone scattered in every direction, while larger chunks crashed onto the ground below, kicking up a cloud of dust.
"Tap." "Tap."...
As the dust gradually settled, a steady, rhythmic sound of footsteps echoed from the newly created cavern.
Soon, a boy with black hair and black eyes stepped out, his pace unhurried.
The boy tilted his head slightly, gazing toward the horizon where the water met the sky. His eyes held a bewildered, uncomprehending look, like a child newly arrived in the world, seemingly unable to grasp his current situation.
The sunlight fell upon his face, casting a warm, jade-like luster. Beneath his sharp, sword-like brows were deep, bright eyes—their dark depths appearing to hide a brilliant galaxy. As he blinked, a faint shimmer seemed to flicker across them, carrying an air of cool, detached mystery.
The boy had a high, straight nose bridge, and his thin lips were pale, as if frosted over. His jawline was clean and well-defined. His skin was fair, though not with a sickly pallor, but rather a healthy complexion; under the gentle touch of the sunlight, one could almost see the fine fuzz on his skin glowing with a faint golden light.
As the sea breeze blew, a few loose strands of hair brushed against his cheeks, adding a touch of messy, aesthetic charm.
"Where is this? Why am I here?"
The boy furrowed his brow, observing his surroundings while struggling to recall memories from his mind.
…………
【Ah, ahhhhhh!! Husband, husband! Heavens, he’s even more handsome than I imagined. Is he an angel?】
【*Slurp*, hehehe, *slurp slurp*. (Licking the screen, giggling.jpg)】
【*Ahem*, I suddenly feel that maybe I don't need to be so strict about gender.】
【Holy crap, a fellow fan? *Ahem*, count me in!】
【???】
The moment they truly saw the boy's face, the livestream chat went predictably wild.
"Tch, shallow."
Watching the people in the chat losing their minds, Silver Wolf curled her lip in disdain. At the same time, she quietly swallowed a mouthful of saliva.

Damn it, that look of bewildered, fragile beauty when Ling Feng first woke up... it’s a bit too lethal.
If I could see that every morning when I woke up...
Silver Wolf’s eyes glazed over involuntarily, her gaze becoming unfocused. A droplet of crystal-clear saliva ran down the corner of her mouth without her noticing; she had clearly fallen into some pleasant daydream.
And she wasn't the only one with the same thought...
……………………
In the President's office of the Prosperity Group.
Seele, Bronya, and Mei—who hadn't gone home last night and had slept at the company instead—were huddled together. On the holographic projection of Seele's terminal in the center, Silver Wolf's livestream was playing.
"Gulp!"
One of the three swallowed audibly. All three expressions froze instantly. They glanced at each other subconsciously, then looked away at the same time, as if they had done something shameful.
Well, as it turned out, they were all guilty.
"Click!"
At that moment, Ling Feng, who had just returned from the restroom, pushed the door open.
"Snap!"
The frail-looking Seele reacted with lightning speed, like a startled rabbit, swatting her terminal off.
Mei and Bronya were just as quick; they shifted away from Seele in a flash and returned to their desks, sitting upright and stiff as soldiers waiting for inspection.
Yet, all three felt their heart rates accelerating uncontrollably, leaving their pretty faces flushed with a sunset-like crimson hue.
Ling Feng walked in and saw the three girls sitting bolt upright, causing him to pause in confusion. "Is something wrong?"
"No, nothing," the three girls shook their heads in unison, as if they had rehearsed it for a stage play.
Ling Feng felt that something was even more off, but seeing that they didn't want to talk about it, he didn't press. He walked back to his seat, feeling a bit bewildered.
"Phew—" the three girls exhaled in relief at the same time.
