Luo Rongdou’s face twisted in pain. He faintly tasted blood in his mouth and felt several of his teeth loosen.
Thud—
Before he could even react, Li Xun delivered a solid kick straight to his ribs.
Luo Rongdou was sent flying four or five meters, crashing through several desks and chairs along the way before finally coming to a stop.
“I haven’t even gotten a reply yet. Do you know who we are?” Li Xun said coldly, looking down at Luo Rongdou, who was lying on the ground pretending to be unconscious.
“We were just joking around with you. Isn’t this a bit too much?” Ge Rong’s face darkened as he hurried forward to stop Li Xun, who was about to pursue further.
Li Xun glanced at him. “Joking? Well, I’m joking with you now.”
“You’re getting a bit arrogant, kid! Luo Rongdou didn’t even use his soul skill just now, that’s why you managed to knock him down.”
“Do you think I’m like him?”
Ge Rong sneered, staring intently at Li Xun. Then he revealed his soul, and a yellow soul ring slowly appeared on his body. “I’m a level nineteen, aggressive-type soul master.”
“You’re proud of being that level at your age?” Li Xun sized up Ge Rong from head to toe.
As the grandson of Marshal Ge Long of the Empire, Ge Rong had never before encountered such a gaze.
Suddenly anger surged within him, his face flushing red. His first soul ring lit up, and his once plump figure instantly swelled.
“First soul skill, Dragon Claw Rend.” Ge Rong struck angrily, condensing soul power in his palm to form five sharp claws, slashing toward Li Xun.
“Too slow.” Li Xun narrowed his eyes and instantly moved to Ge Rong’s side, producing a wooden staff as thick as a wrist using Earth Release.
Thud—
The wooden staff struck Ge Rong’s face hard. A raised red mark appeared immediately on his once chubby cheek.
Thud—
Another blow hit his lips, which swelled instantly, blood flowing out relentlessly.
Ge Rong was dazed by the two consecutive heavy hits, instinctively spitting out two front teeth. When he regained consciousness, he quickly raised his hands to cover his head in defense.
Thud! Thud! Thud!—
Li Xun showed no mercy, wielding the wooden staff in a continuous flurry, striking Ge Rong’s body like a torrential rain of blows.
“Do you even know who we are?”
Ge Rong, writhing in unbearable pain, curled up on the ground to minimize the area being hit.
“Ah! I know... I know... stop hitting me...” Ge Rong groaned pitifully.
“You know and yet still come to cause trouble! Who sent you?” Li Xun’s eyes turned cold as he tightened his grip on the staff.

“Stop hitting me... my grandfather... is the Empire’s Marshal... you hit me... ah!”
Hearing Ge Rong still daring to speak defiantly, Li Xun struck several more heavy blows.
Although Ge Long was the Empire’s Marshal, he was only a level 80 Soul Douluo. The Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Sect had not betrayed the Empire, and with two Super Douluos in their family, there was no fear of him.
Inside the classroom, the onlookers watched Li Xun with astonishment.
Those who knew more hurriedly rushed out of the classroom.
After all, Marshal Ge Long wielded the real power of commanding a million-strong imperial army.
Descendants of such figures were usually avoided by nobles, who feared offending the family and bringing disaster upon their own houses.
Yet today, Ge Rong, like a mere grandson, was being beaten down to the ground.
They could already imagine the scene of Marshal Ge Long, furious, bringing his million soldiers to the academy.
“Who told you to come and cause trouble for Rong Rong?” Li Xun crouched beside Ge Rong and whispered softly.
The gentle tone was like the devil’s whisper, causing Ge Rong’s plump body to shudder.
“What are you doing?”
“Academy rule number three: It is strictly forbidden to beat or bully others. Violators will be confined for ten days or expelled.”
“You’ve already seriously violated the rules. Drop the weapon in your hand immediately!” A teacher with a buzz cut hurried over.
Seeing Ge Rong and Luo Rongdou lying on the floor, bruised and battered, with a boy crouched beside them wielding a wooden staff, his heart sank.
“Teacher, he even lit his soul ring. This doesn’t count as beating. Besides, we were just joking around,” Li Xun looked back at the buzz-cut teacher.
“You...! Looks like you’re planning to be expelled then?” The teacher gritted his teeth, furious.
The nobility had ranks, and Ge Rong and Luo Rongdou were undoubtedly among the highest.
He had never seen Li Xun before, but guessed he didn’t have the backing of those two.
“This isn’t something you can decide.”
Li Xun suppressed his smile and turned back to glare at Ge Rong, tapping the wooden staff on the ground. “Keep talking.”
Ge Rong’s plump body trembled, but seeing the teacher had arrived, he pressed his swollen lips together and decided to say no more.
This action amused Li Xun, who suddenly swung the wooden staff toward Ge Rong again.
“Ah...!”
Ge Rong was relaxed and stretching out, but the sudden heavy blow made him scream in pain.
“How dare you!”
The buzz-cut teacher’s anger surged seeing Li Xun still dare to attack after his arrival.

He took a few quick steps and rushed to Li Xun’s side, intending to snatch the wooden staff from his hand.
Li Xun had long noticed the teacher’s movement from the corner of his eye. As the teacher charged, Li Xun instantly moved to the classroom door.
The buzz-cut teacher was startled by Li Xun’s strange agility.
But now was not the time to ponder this. He hurried to check Ge Rong’s injuries.
At the doorway, Ning Rongrong watched Li Xun with bright, shining eyes.
She hadn’t expected her brother to be so strong—he didn’t even use soul skills and yet could knock down someone so much older than himself.
As for expulsion, she thought staying here any longer was pointless, so going home would be fine.
“Are you dumb?” Li Xun glanced at Ning Rongrong and ruffled her hair carelessly.
Seeing her just smile foolishly without resistance, he quickly lost interest.
With the buzz-cut teacher intervening, further questioning was impossible.
However, Li Xun’s heavy-handed attack would surely be used by those behind the scenes to stir trouble.
It remained to be seen who would step forward.
News of a fight breaking out in a mid-level classroom spread quickly.
Mostly because the victim came from a very influential background.
By now, a crowd of students had gathered outside the classroom, excitedly whispering and pointing.
“What happened?” a deep voice sounded.
Some students looked back, seeing several people standing behind the speaker.
At their head was a middle-aged man in splendid robes, beside him stood a teenager of about ten or so.
“Greetings, Fourth Prince. Greetings, Prince Xuexing,” the students quickly saluted upon recognizing them.
Their words caught the attention of others, who turned and were equally shocked, hastily following suit with their salutes.
Some of the more perceptive quietly relayed what had happened in the classroom.
“I want to see which child dares to break the rules by beating and bullying other students,” Prince Xuexing said as he led the boy toward the classroom, followed closely by his entourage.
