A Note on Publication-Running a Restaurant in the Pokémon World(Treading the rain, carried by the wind)

Dear readers, thank you for your support of this book. It will be going live tomorrow. I had originally hoped it might make it into the Three Rivers feature, but it seems that chance has slipped away.

Let me share one piece of good news and one piece of bad news.

The bad news is that the book is going live, so the chapters starting tomorrow will be paid chapters. I know some readers may be short on funds, but I still hope you will support the subscription if you can. After all, I depend on this book to make a living.

The good news is that once it goes live, there will definitely be a burst of extra updates. That is simply the unspoken rule here at Qidian. Tomorrow there will be five chapters, and I hope to show everyone a Pokémon world that feels more real, closer to the one in my mind. As always, I am not especially fond of the path of battling and collecting badges, so this book will remain centered mainly on everyday life, with travel, observations, and a wide variety of characters woven in.

I also want to answer a few of the questions that have come up frequently in the review section. Has Giovanni, the boss of Team Rocket, been redeemed? No. Giovanni is still the head of Team Rocket, and he will still do Pokémon experiments and the like. I simply feel that villains cannot spend all their time thinking only about doing evil; they also have a more genuine side, a flesh-and-blood side.

Lastly, there is the matter of results.

As for this book, I honestly do not know how many subscriptions it will get, but of course the more the better. In any case, I will not abandon it; I may only occasionally ask for a few days off now and then.
