Chapter 15: The Safest Place! I'm Just a Little Agitated!
A single sword slash swept through, a brilliant silver-white sword light flaring fiercely. Like a rushing river, it engulfed the entire area.
At that moment, all the disciples of the Azure Cloud Sect who had charged forward froze in place, as if turned to wooden statues.
Their expressions were identical, and their eyes were filled with terror.
Though it seemed they were still standing there, in truth, they had already been rooted to the spot for some time...
“Shhh!”
Long lines of blood appeared along their necks, fresh blood spilling out.
“Gurgle!”
Then, one by one, their heads were severed and flew through the air.
With a single sword stroke, those men met a grisly death on the spot.
“Done! Wrap it up!”
Ye Changsheng didn’t hurry to leave. Suddenly recalling something, he slowly stepped forward and retrieved a few items from among the corpses.
“You just lie here quietly. Whether the hungry wolves devour you or someone collects your bodies... it makes no difference.”
After tidying up, Ye Changsheng hummed a little tune as he returned to the carriage.
Perhaps hearing his footsteps, Su Qinqin poked her head out and looked around.
“Sir, where did you go just now?”
Ye Changsheng smiled faintly, “I didn’t go anywhere. Just went to relieve myself.”
“Sir, are you bleeding when you pee?”
Ye Changsheng was puzzled.
“Bleeding? What blood are you talking about?”
Su Qinqin stepped forward and pointed to the fresh blood on Ye Changsheng’s clothes, smiling slightly.
“Look at this. What do you think it is?”
Ye Changsheng looked down. The bloodstains were from the recent fight, accidentally left behind.
“Ah…”
He scratched his head, feeling embarrassed.
Su Qinqin leaned closer and asked, “Sir, did the Azure Cloud Sect’s people catch up with us?”
“You guessed right,” Ye Changsheng nodded.
“Sir, why don’t you teach me to cultivate?”
“Huh?” Ye Changsheng pointed at her, “Teach you cultivation? Are you sure?”
Su Qinqin nodded earnestly, “I’m sure. Absolutely sure!”
“I’ve seen it all this time. Those Azure Cloud Sect guys have been chasing us relentlessly. It must be tough for you to handle them alone.”
“If I cultivate, I’ll definitely become your right hand and help you fight.”
As she spoke, Su Qinqin gestured wildly, looking rather silly.
Ye Changsheng smiled wryly, “As long as you don’t slow me down, that’s already the best.”
“Sir, what do you mean by that? Don’t tell me you look down on Qinqin?”
Su Qinqin pouted, putting on a look of grievance.
Ye Changsheng cleared his throat softly and quickly explained, “That’s not what I meant…”
“Once we’re safe, I’ll teach you, of course.”
Su Qinqin’s sad expression vanished instantly, replaced by a triumphant smile. “I knew it! You’re the best, sir! Long live sir!”
“All right, since we’ll be traveling together from now on, don’t call me ‘sir’ anymore.”
“Why not?” Su Qinqin asked curiously.
“Because I’m still young, only a few years older than you. If you keep calling me ‘sir,’ I’ll start feeling old.”
Su Qinqin scratched her head and continued, “If not ‘sir,’ then what should I call you?”
“Master Changsheng?”
“You’ve left the Su family and you’re no longer a maid, so stop calling me ‘Master.’ In this world, everyone is equal—no nobles, no commoners.”
“How about Brother Sheng?”
“I’m still ‘Brother Sheng’!”
“Brother Ye?”
Ye Changsheng was very particular about names, nearly confusing Su Qinqin.
“This won’t do, that won’t do—what should I be called then?”
Ye Changsheng rubbed his chin thoughtfully and murmured, “If you don’t mind, just call me Brother Changsheng.”
Su Qinqin readily agreed and smiled, “Okay! Brother Changsheng!”
“By the way, Brother Changsheng, where are we headed next?”
“Constantly running away isn’t a solution. It’s time to settle things with those Azure Cloud Sect people.”
Hearing this, Su Qinqin’s interest was piqued. She leaned in and asked, “Could it be that Brother Changsheng has a good plan?”
“Of course!”
“As the saying goes, the safest place is often the most dangerous one.”
Su Qinqin suddenly felt uneasy and stammered, “Brother Changsheng, the safe place you mentioned just now… it can’t be the Azure Cloud Sect, right?”
“You really get me, Qinqin sis!”
“That’s right. The place we’re going is the Azure Cloud Sect!” Ye Changsheng chuckled.
Su Qinqin sighed bitterly, “I’d rather not know…”
Seeing her expression, Ye Changsheng began to explain, “Right now, those Azure Cloud Sect people are searching for us everywhere. They would never expect us to run straight to their own home base.”
“That’s what you call darkness under the lamp!”
“Brother Changsheng, as long as you’re happy,” Su Qinqin said, her mouth twitching slightly.
Ye Changsheng smiled, “Qinqin, don’t worry! I have a plan already.”
With that, Ye Changsheng waved his hand and placed a set of clothes and a disciple’s token in front of Su Qinqin.
“Put these on, and we can set off.”
“Okay!”
Su Qinqin went into the carriage to change clothes, while Ye Changsheng stood outside.
He looked down at his disheveled appearance and murmured, “Looks like I’ll have to be more careful when killing people from now on.”
With that, he waved his hand and donned the Azure Cloud Sect uniform.
He looked at the Azure Cloud Sect sword in his hand and smiled, “Not bad at all.”
Inside the carriage, Su Qinqin was still changing, while Ye Changsheng waited outside.
Suddenly, a gust of wind stirred the carriage curtain.
At that moment, a graceful silhouette was revealed before Ye Changsheng’s eyes.
It was pure white...
Ye Changsheng hadn’t intended to look, but since cultivating had sharpened his vision, he couldn’t help but see clearly.
Within the carriage, her perfectly curved figure was fully exposed...
“Whoa!”
Ye Changsheng exclaimed, frozen in place.
Unaware of what had happened, Su Qinqin stepped out after changing.
It must be said, though just eighteen, Su Qinqin’s figure was truly captivating!
The Azure Cloud Sect’s cultivation robe was form-fitting, accentuating her abundant curves; her ample bosom buoyant and majestic, truly a sight to behold.
A delicate face with the figure of a regal lady! Even celestial beings would have to utter “stunning”!
Seeing Ye Changsheng standing motionless, Su Qinqin waved at him.
“Hey! Brother Changsheng, what are you zoning out for?”
“Nothing, nothing...”
Ye Changsheng waved his hand, but though he said nothing was wrong, his face flushed deeply.
It wasn’t just a blush—he felt a sudden warmth in his nose as a trickle of blood ran out.
“Brother Changsheng, what’s wrong? Why are you having a nosebleed?”
Given such a seductive figure, a nosebleed was only natural!
“Could it be…”
Su Qinqin squinted and approached with a complicated expression.
Ye Changsheng swallowed nervously, thinking, “Qinqin, did you realize? I’m doomed!”
“Qinqin, I didn’t do anything!”
Su Qinqin giggled, “Brother Changsheng, maybe you’re overheated? You’ve been eating too spicy. You should eat lighter food from now on!”
Hearing this, Ye Changsheng finally breathed a sigh of relief. If she had discovered the truth, he would have been branded a pervert!
“Alright! I’ll listen to you from now on.”
