Chapter 115: Corviknight’s Pride! The Ferocious Beast Makes Its Entrance!

“What an intense battle! Nemo’s Great Hammer Master presses forward relentlessly with a powerful strike from his mighty hammer against Steelclad Crow.”
“And Su Yi’s Steelclad Crow calmly leverages its advantages, delivering a tremendous blow to the Great Hammer Master!”
The host narrated with fervor.
The thrilling and fiercely competitive match had the audience shouting with excitement.
“That guy and his Steelclad Crow really know their stuff,” Kibana nodded.
Caidou shook her head and said, “That’s probably not Su Yi’s Steelclad Crow. He must be commanding that Pokémon for the first time.”
“You mean he used a completely untrained Pokémon to overpower the champion’s Pokémon?” Lurina exclaimed in surprise.
“Although she’s the champion, that young lady and her Pokémon still need to mature, and that Steelclad Crow isn’t simple either.”
“But for it to come to this point, that Su Yi fellow must have excellent command skills and quick thinking.” Kibana remarked.
As the smoke cleared, the Great Hammer Master leaned on his massive hammer, breathing heavily, battered from the fight, yet his eyes still burned with fierce fighting spirit.
The Steelclad Crow, having launched a daring aerial assault, also bore significant wounds, though it was in slightly better condition than the Great Hammer Master.

After such relentless attacks, the Great Hammer Master should have been severely injured or near defeat, yet it seemed to still have some strength left.
Clearly, the previous onslaught had been partially resisted.
“Great Hammer Master, prepare to give it your all! Sword Dance!” Nemo said excitedly.
“We’ll respond with Iron Defense!” Su Yi ordered immediately.
“Clang!” The Great Hammer Master swung his hammer twice, then slammed the handle into the ground, producing a mighty sound.
The Steelclad Crow stretched its body, its glossy black armor flashing metallic luster as its defense grew even stronger.
“Use Sword Dance again; raise your attack to the maximum!”
Su Yi paused momentarily, surprised at such a risky move.
“Caw!” The Steelclad Crow spread its wings and screeched, looking at Su Yi with determined, burning eyes.
“Steelclad Crow, is this the kind of battle you want?” Su Yi understood the look.
“Then we’ll keep using Iron Defense!”
Thus, both sides raised their attack and defense to the highest levels.
Through the host’s commentary, the audience learned that the Great Hammer Master and Steelclad Crow were each preparing their strongest strike, holding their breath in anticipation of the earth-shattering blow.
“Clang!” The Great Hammer Master gripped his hammer tightly, radiating incredible power.
“Steelclad Crow! Soar to the skies!” Su Yi laughed and pointed upward.
With its defense maximized, Steelclad Crow spread its wings and took to the air, soaring with lofty ambition!
“Steelclad Crow!” & “Great Hammer Master!”
“Sky Attack!” & “Mighty Hammer!”
Su Yi and Nemo shouted simultaneously.
“Caw!” The Steelclad Crow flapped its wings with full force, diving from the sky like a meteor forged of steel.
“Clang!” The Great Hammer Master braced his hammer, gathering his peak strength like a volcano about to erupt.
The spectators widened their eyes, fixated on the collision of these titans.

Boom!
Rumble!
First came the deafening roar, followed by the earth cracking with a mournful groan.
The battlefield suddenly sank deeply, sending a cloud of dust and rubble into the air. Su Yi and Nemo both retreated, shielding their faces from the flying dirt.
“Which Pokémon emerged victorious?!” the host exclaimed loudly.
The referee sent the Shieldon flying toward the crater’s center. As the smoke cleared, the Great Hammer Master lay sprawled on the ground, eyes spinning, while the Steelclad Crow stood weakly, wings drooping.
“It’s Steelclad Crow!”
“After that incredible clash, Steelclad Crow still stands! So strong!” the host shouted excitedly.
The crowd erupted in cheers, applauding Steelclad Crow.
Its weary red eyes slowly scanned the audience, taking in the applause.
“Caw.” Its body trembled, swaying unsteadily.
“Steelclad Crow! Well done! Get out of there and rest!” Su Yi urged.
“Caw!” Unexpectedly, Steelclad Crow flickered with a last burst of energy, spreading its battered wings and flapping fiercely. A powerful gust swept across the field, revealing and shattering the previously invisible rock traps left by the Great Hammer Master.
“Clearing the fog?” Su Yi said in surprise.
This is my final move to clear the fog!
Steelclad Crow’s eyes dimmed as it held its wings spread, losing its fighting spirit.
“Ohhhh! So cool! On the brink of collapse, Steelclad Crow still chose to use its last strength to clear the fog and remove traps for the next Pokémon!” the host exclaimed in awe.
“Doctor! Quickly! Take Steelclad Crow off the field for treatment!” Su Yi shouted.
The medical team rushed out from the players’ entrance to assess Steelclad Crow’s injuries.
“We need urgent care, especially for its wings; otherwise, there will be lasting issues,” the medic said.
“Recall it, and then hand us the Poké Ball.”
Su Yi shook his head, “It’s not just my Pokémon; it’s my friend.”
“Not your Pokémon?” Dande, who had just arrived, said in surprise.
“Steelclad Crow has probably longed for a stage and battle like this, and it did exceptionally well,” Su Yi said earnestly.
“In that case, capture it temporarily in the ball so it can receive treatment. What happens next can wait until it wakes,” Dande suggested.
Su Yi nodded, caught it in a Poké Ball, and handed it to the medical staff.
“Oh? What a surprise! This Steelclad Crow isn’t Su Yi’s Pokémon, yet their coordination was amazing! Truly intriguing,” the host said, eyes wide.
“Not his Pokémon at all?” Kibana said in astonishment.
“A debt repaid with all-out effort?” Caidou murmured.
“Such a cool Steelclad Crow, giving its all with Sky Attack, and then the final Clear Fog move…” Professor Oak said admiringly.
“Really unexpected. Steelclad Crow is so powerful!” Nemo recalled the Great Hammer Master, smiling.
“Yeah!” Su Yi nodded. Steelclad Crow had done remarkably well, overcoming some disadvantages to trade evenly with the champion’s Pokémon. Even the Scourge Bird originally planned to be sent out could only have matched its performance at best.
Su Yi took out a capture ball with a serious gaze: “Let’s make your public debut unforgettable!”
Nemo also retrieved a Poké Ball.

“Go! Tyranox!”
“Go! Gyaradon!”
A deep green predatory warrior appeared on the field; the massive ferocious dragon stretched across the arena, roaring fiercely.

The intimidating roar swept over the field. Tyranox flinched instinctively, then growled fiercely in anger.
“Intimidate,” Su Yi frowned.
Though the monsters were equally fierce, under Pokémon battle rules, Intimidate still worked, lowering Tyranox’s physical attack by one level.
Indeed, when accepting the power of Pokémon, one must abide by their rules. Gaining power comes with its own price.
“Oh! Nemo has sent out an especially robust Gyaradon, while Su Yi has released a fierce yet massive Pokémon unknown to the officials! Could this be a new, undiscovered Pokémon?” the host exclaimed.
“Is it here? The new unknown Pokémon.” Loz straightened slightly, observing the huge, fierce creature.
“This Pokémon evokes a strange feeling; or rather, is it even truly a Pokémon?” Professor Oak frowned at the computer screen.
“They’re coming—Su Yi’s Pokémon with extraordinary physical prowess,” Caidou began to anticipate eagerly.
“Fierce! Powerful!” Mary clenched her fist in admiration.
“Wow! That’s a huge Gyaradon!” Su Yi exclaimed.
The official length of a Gyaradon is 6.5 meters, but this one stretched nearly 10 meters, only slightly shorter than Tyranox’s 13 meters.
Like most monsters, Tyranox’s length is partly due to its long tail, and in terms of bulk, this Gyaradon was just as imposing. Moreover, Pokémon are not bound by ordinary standards; size alone does not tell the whole story.
With its size, Gyaradon effectively neutralized Tyranox’s fearsome bite.
It was simply too large. While Tyranox could swallow a similarly sized herbivorous monster, that only happened after the prey had died.
Besides, Gyaradon was far more muscular and would struggle fiercely if swallowed alive, causing serious harm to Tyranox.
“Both are giants! The upcoming battle will be even more intense!” the host rallied the crowd.
“Su Yi, is that your other Pokémon? It’s really strong too!” Nemo’s smile never faded.
“Tyranox! Stay calm!” Seeing Tyranox agitated by the open field and the noisy crowd, Su Yi quickly comforted it.
“Awwooo!” Tyranox trusted Su Yi and soon filtered out distractions, focusing fiercely on the opponent, entering battle mode.
“Gyaradon, use Waterfall!” Nemo attacked again.
“Roar!” Gyaradon raised its body aggressively, sending a torrent of water rushing toward Tyranox, surging upward to strike.
“Tyranox, use Protect!” Su Yi calmly commanded.
Tyranox stood firmly as a barrier appeared before it, splitting the incoming torrent. Gyaradon’s fierce Waterfall was blocked, then the protective shield shattered and dissipated.
Protect truly is a divine move in battle; unfortunately, among Su Yi’s companions, only Tyranox and Scourge Bird could learn it.
“Counterattack! Thunder Fang!” Su Yi shouted.
Like the Farmer’s Three Punches (Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch), the Three Fangs (Thunder Fang, Ice Fang, Fire Fang) are common moves that broaden attack coverage and can be used repeatedly with the right move tutor. Su Yi had early on expanded his team’s offensive options.
Tyranox bared its sharp fangs glowing with electricity, two rows of electrified teeth appearing as it bit toward Gyaradon.
