Chapter 115: A Hero Saves the Beauty

Bound hand and foot to the execution rack, Li Huihui watched as three men with greedy, feral glints in their eyes lunged toward her like starving wolves. Her body trembled uncontrollably, her pupils dilated, and she instinctively screamed, "No, don't come any closer!"

Alas, her cries carried no deterrent power; to the three men, they only added a layer of amusement.

"Heh heh, little beauty, don't be afraid. I’m quite experienced, brother. I guarantee I’ll make you feel so good you won't want to stop," the leader said with a lecherous smirk.

"Exactly."

"That’s right, the boss is right. Which of us three brothers hasn't been through a hundred battles? Just relax and enjoy it, little lady. We’ll definitely send you to heaven today. Wahahaha!"

As they spoke, the three reached her side. The leader reached out with a rough, calloused hand and tilted Li Huihui’s chin with a flirtatious gesture. "Tsk tsk, this skin really is supple. Second and Third, start the show."

"Got it, I couldn't wait any longer!"

"Ah, I’m losing my mind! Damn it, those bastards in the Special Services Office really did a good thing this time."

Soon, the interrogation room echoed with screams filled with hatred and despair. The sound pierced through the door, reaching the ears of everyone in the Second Team. The shrill, blood-curdling cries, like a cuckoo weeping blood, sent a tremor through everyone’s heart.

"Team Leader, isn't this going too far?" one of the members asked, emboldened to speak to Tian Yaopeng.

Although they were part of the Special Services Office—a group known for murder, arson, kidnapping, and extortion—they had rarely stooped to such depraved acts as sexual assault. Everyone had wives and daughters; they weren't beasts. Such actions were not only looked down upon but would invite curses upon their ancestors and leave them with a reputation that would haunt them forever.

"Hmm?" Tian Yaopeng glanced at him calmly. "She chose this herself. I gave her plenty of chances."

Hearing this, the team member stopped arguing. He glanced toward the interrogation room, sighed silently, and then said to Tian, "Team Leader, I’m going to the restroom."

"Go ahead," Tian replied dismissively.

The member left quickly, but he returned even faster, his expression filled with panic. "Team Leader, it’s bad! Bai Zeshao is coming with his First Team, and they look murderous!"

"What? You say Bai Zeshao is coming?" Tian Yaopeng asked, finding it hard to believe.

"That's right, and everyone is armed."

"How could he be so bold? Is he not afraid of being punished by the superiors?" Tian still found it hard to believe that Bai Zeshao would be that foolish.

"Team Leader, don't doubt it. I'm telling the truth."

"Are you sure?"

"No need to be sure, Team Leader Tian. I'm already here." Just then, Bai Zeshao appeared at the doorway of the interrogation room, his voice booming.

However, when he saw Tian Yaopeng and his men standing at the entrance, and heard the lewd sounds and Li Huihui’s screams emanating from within, his expression shifted. "Tian Yaopeng, Team Leader Tian, what exactly are you doing in that room?"

"What else? We’re all men. Just as you heard, the girl has a stubborn mouth, so I brought in a few death-row inmates to help her loosen up," Tian shrugged indifferently.

He then glanced at the group behind Bai Zeshao and said coldly, "But Team Leader Bai, with such a display of force, are you trying to start a fight with me? Have you forgotten the rules of our office? No internal killing."

"Team Leader Tian, you had better pray for yourself." Bai Zeshao didn't waste more words on him. He addressed his men: "Go in and save her. If anyone tries to stop you, fire at will."

"Yes!" Monkey, Dali, Huzi, and the others responded in unison.

"You dare!" Tian Yaopeng drew his pistol, and the men of the Second Team followed suit, drawing their weapons as well.

The situation spiraled out of control as the members of the two teams stood in a standoff, guns drawn. Bai Zeshao looked deeply at Tian Yaopeng. "Team Leader Tian, you are courting disaster. I am here under the direct orders of the Captain to save her."

"Hmph, don't talk to me about the Captain. Even if the Director himself came, I, Tian Yaopeng, wouldn't be afraid. My conscience is clear; I don't believe the higher-ups would punish me for dealing with a Red Party spy."

Although Tian sensed something was wrong—especially given how readily Bai Zeshao had drawn his weapon, implying he had backing—he knew that if he backed down now, he would never be able to show his face in the Action Team again.

"Are you really not moving?" Hearing Li Huihui’s increasingly shrill and hoarse cries from inside, Bai Zeshao pushed his gun forward, pressing it against Tian Yaopeng’s temple. "I’ll say it one last time: move."

"No. If you have the guts, pull the trigger." Tian showed no signs of yielding.

Following this, members from both teams cocked their weapons and took a step forward. The atmosphere grew stiflingly tense.

Just as the situation reached a breaking point, Wu Zhengke came storming around the corner. "What are you all doing? Having a shootout? Put your guns down, now!"

*Clatter.*

Everyone immediately holstered their weapons. Wu Zhengke, having also heard the sounds from inside the room, hurriedly ordered, "Bai, get in there and save her!"

"Yes!" Bai Zeshao kicked the door open and rushed inside.

"Team Leader, in there..." Tian Yaopeng tried to explain, but Wu Zhengke cut him off. "Don't explain anything. If something happens to her, pray for your own soul."

"I..." Tian Yaopeng felt a chill run down his spine. His lips moved, but no words came out.

Inside the interrogation room, the three death-row inmates were shirtless, excitedly licking Li Huihui’s pale skin, their six hands groping her body. Her clothes were torn to shreds, scattered all over the floor. Fortunately, because they had just begun, they hadn't yet reached the final act.

*Bang!*

"All of you, stop right there!" Bai Zeshao roared as he fired a shot into the air.

The sound startled the three men, and Li Huihui snapped out of her dazed state.

"Who the hell are you? What right do you have to stop us? Your team leader gave us permission!" The second man, interrupted in his pleasure, looked at Bai Zeshao’s youthful face with resentment and reached out to touch her again.

*Bang!*

This time, Bai Zeshao didn't shout. He fired directly. The bullet pierced the second man’s skull. To the disbelief of everyone, he slumped to the floor, dead. He never imagined he would be killed over a single sentence. His eyes remained wide open, staring in death.

The leader and the third man were stunned by Bai Zeshao’s ruthlessness. Seeing Bai’s gaze shift to them, they instinctively lowered their heads.

"Get out and squat on the floor! Don't move!" After shouting at them, Bai Zeshao approached Li Huihui, unfastening her from the rack. "Hui, it's okay now. It's okay."

As he spoke, he draped his own coat over her to cover her exposed skin.
