Chen Erpao noticed that despite all the commotion just now, no one else had come out from the surrounding apartments. It seemed that not many people were living on this floor at the moment. Now, with the night deep and silent and not a soul in sight, wasn’t this the perfect opportunity to get up to some mischief?

“Since you claim you didn’t see anything, how do you know I’m covered in blood? I didn’t expect you to notice, heh heh.” Chen Erpao forced a faintly sinister smile, and with the streaks of blood on his face, under the dim light, he looked like the ultimate version of a depraved and creepy old man.

“I really didn’t see anything, I didn’t, I know nothing, please don’t come after me,” the woman stammered, her voice trembling with the hint of a sob.

Chen Erpao had intended to tease her a little more, but then he reconsidered. In the dead of night, people scaring each other could really end badly. If he truly frightened her to death, he’d end up all alone and lonely. Having such a beautiful female neighbor for company was actually rather pleasant.

“Yes, I am covered in blood! But can’t a butcher get blood on him after slaughtering a pig? Really. I thought you looked quite pretty, but who knew you’d be all looks and no brains. And your eyesight isn’t great either—claiming you didn’t see anything. You’d better get yourself a pair of glasses tomorrow!”

His words fell like heavy blows on the woman, leaving her dumbstruck and frozen in place.

“Sigh! Seems there’s some truth to the saying ‘all looks and no brains’—just look at how stunned she is,” Chen Erpao remarked, shaking his head and sighing at the dazed woman.

“Ah... I’ll kill you!” Suddenly, the woman burst forth, unleashing her full strength in a deadly move that surpassed even the legendary Mei Chaofeng. Unfortunately, by then, Chen Erpao had already closed his door and was headed off for a leisurely sleep.

Several days later, the new school term officially began, and it was time for Chen Erpao to start work. The school’s security guard uniform was modeled after the Chinese military style—olive green, of decent quality, and paired with boots that gave Chen Erpao a sense of returning to his army days.

He considered getting a haircut and shaving his beard, but then thought, why bother looking so imposing and handsome just to be a security guard? After all, this was a school teeming with young girls in the bloom of youth. If any of them took a fancy to him and wanted more than just his company, he’d be at a loss. Better to keep a low profile—modesty had always been his style.

Driving his barely stylish, masked motorbike, the uncle made it to the school with almost zero heads turning to look at him.

After checking in at the security office, he made his way to the school’s most important and prominent location—the security booth at the main gate.

Inside, there was already a young security guard in his twenties, with tanned skin and a straight, if not burly, build. In Chen Erpao’s eyes, this young man had likely served in the military.

“You’ve been in the army,” Chen Erpao said with a slight smile.

“Served a few years as a reconnaissance soldier, just retired this year,” the young guard replied with a matching smile.

“You seem familiar—are you Chen Erpao? Nickname ‘Mad Wolf,’ former member of the XX Special Forces?” the young man continued, suddenly dropping a line that left Chen Erpao surprised.

Chen Erpao scrutinized him, finding no trace of recognition in his memory. He was sure they’d never met before. How did this guy know him? Had his reputation gotten that far?

“How do you know me? I don’t think we’ve met before,” Chen Erpao said, feeling a sense of kinship with this fellow ex-soldier.

“Brother Erpao, I’m Wang Xing. Just call me Axing. A few years back, our military district and yours held a joint exercise called ‘Sky Blue One.’ You were famous back then! Ever since, you’ve been my idol—I’ve admired and learned from you. But how did you end up as a security guard in Hong Kong, just like me? You were already a captain in the special forces. With your potential, you could be a major by now,” Wang Xing said, puzzled.

“Sigh, it’s a long story…” Faced with someone he could finally confide in, Chen Erpao told him everything that had happened. After all, their work was light—just sitting in the security booth.

When Wang Xing finished listening, the corners of his eyes grew moist.

“I’m sorry, Brother Erpao, I didn’t mean to bring up painful memories.”

Chen Erpao just smiled it off. “It’s alright. It’s all in the past, even if I haven’t fully let it go yet. Come on, let’s not dwell on it. Let’s enjoy this lovely spring scenery! Just look at all those fair, beautiful legs and pure, delicate faces—what more could you ask for?”

“I didn’t expect you to be so righteous on the outside, but so lecherous inside, Brother Erpao!” Wang Xing burst out laughing.

“If only some people could see me the way you do. I wouldn’t mind being called righteous-looking, just as long as I’m not seen as some creepy old man. These past few days, there’s been a big-busted, brainless woman who’s completely defeated me,” Chen Erpao said with a shake of his head, sighing.

“You’re not really creepy—just a bit sleazy. Why don’t you clean yourself up, get a haircut and shave? I remember you used to look quite dashing. Nowadays, these innocent student girls are all pretty perceptive. No wonder they see you as a sketchy uncle,” Wang Xing teased.

“Come on, you call that normal? If you ask me, you’re not creepy at all—just extremely creepy. You’ve surpassed me by far. Every generation produces new talent, and each outshines the last. Brother, I bow to your superiority,” Chen Erpao joked back, quick with his words as ever.

“Brother Erpao, I knew you were skilled with your hands, but I didn’t expect—” Wang Xing started, laughing.

“I’m not going to argue with you. I need to use the restroom,” Chen Erpao quickly slipped out before Wang Xing could finish.

He hadn’t gone far when a familiar silhouette appeared before him: a slender, snake-like waist, long, straight legs, and a perfectly rounded, perky figure. It all seemed so familiar.

“With my years of experience, this is definitely a first-class beauty,” Chen Erpao mused, admiring the lovely figure before him.

The woman, sensing a burning gaze behind her, suddenly turned around, revealing her breathtaking face in all its glory.
